TISSUE ENGINEERING AND CRYOPRATERAL UNIT
The aim of tissue engineering is to coordinate the biological materials with new generation technological products and to repair damaged tissues or organs for various reasons and to provide treatment for various diseases. In this unit, cytotoxicity and biocompatibility of the cells derived from various tissues and organs are tested by the 3-dimensional and biodegradable  biomaterials synthesized using the new generation synthetic or natural sources of polymers. The addition of various molecules to the surfaces of biomaterials is changing the adherence and its movements, and controlled release systems and their interaction with various tissues and cells are also investigated in vitro and in vivo.
Biopsy tissues obtained from various human or animals obtained from all basic and pre-clinical AR-GE studies, and mesenchymal stem cells isolated from these tissues and organs, neural stem cells, induced pluripotent stem cells, cancer stem cells, various cancer cell lines , healthy tissue cells, oocytes, sperm and embryos, nucleic acids and proteins in accordance with the international standards of the gradual and mechanical freezing in the liquid nitrogen storage tank, -152 ° C and -80 ° C-freezing-storage operations are performed. In addition, archiving of all these cell and cellular products is carried out in this unit.
